Kubotan keychain's are highly accessible, extremely durable, effective close quarter self defense weapons. A kubotan is commonly used to stabilize the closed fist, to apply pressure to sensitive body parts or to gain leverage against an attackers fingers or wrist. Our Kubotan's are 5.5 inches long and made of aluminum and come in various colors and have either pointed or flat tips. The kubotan is legal and entirely unregulated. To most people, the Kubotan is little more than a nondescript key ring. While the Kubotan is not particularly intimidating, it is an extremely effective striking and pressure point weapon. The Kubotan is usually held in either an ice pick (for hammer fist strikes) or forward grip (for stabbing and pressure point attacks). Common uses include hardening the fist (fist load) for punching, attacking vulnerable parts of an assailant's body, and gaining leverage on an assailant's wrist, fingers and joints. With keys attached, it can also function as a flailing weapon. 5 1/2 inches long. Available in Black, Red, Royal Blue, and Silver

Who created the Kubotan?

The Kubotan was developed by Sōke Takayuki Kubota in the late 1960s.It was first created to train the police in Japan.

What is it?

A Kubotan is a self-defense keychain weapon. It is a non-lethal self-defence tool. The great thing about the Kubotan is that it looks harmless but has a great impact. Attach it to your keys and bring it with you when walking, jogging, shopping-anywhere you're going, especially if alone. It may just save your life.
